WHAS-TV channel 11 is the ABC certified television station in Louisville, Kentucky. Owned by Belo Corporation, the station's support system is situated in Floyd County, Indiana, near the community of Floyds Knobs. The station yearly shows the WHAS campaign for Children, a highly bountiful local telethon assisting the children's charities across Kentucky and southern Indiana. It also started as one of the nation's most extended-running public service programs, Good Side of the News, spotlighting a local inclusive clergy panel speaking about the week's events in the light of trust. The panel also provides the annual grants from the Campaign for Children telethon. As could be expected for a station with line up in a newspaper, WHAS-TV has been a pioneer in news coverage.
