Ed Hamilton Studios & Visitors Center "Where Art Lives"
Ed Hamilton Studios & Visitors Center is a 501c3 organization founded by the Hamilton family to preserve and celebrate the life achievements of the renowned Louisville, Kentucky sculptor, Ed Hamilton. With a career spanning over 40 years, Ed is a true Master of his craft.
Our Vision - We envision a community where the resources are available and accessible for everyone to be fully supported, cultivated, and mentored in the pursuit of the realization of their full selves and that they understand they are part of a continuum as a bridge that translates and connects between generations.
Our Mission - The Ed Hamilton Studio and Visitor Center is a space and place where a multi-generational collective of individuals, artists, students, and educators come together to create a shared experience that encourages exploration, discover, and delight, and positively impacts and shapes our community.
Our primary purpose will be to use Ed’s life and work to inspire the community and celebrate cultural heritage and historical legacies. The center also aims to promote the transformative power of arts and culture through community building by showcasing diverse and emerging artists not only through exhibits, but with hands-on tutelage through our Artist-in-Residence program, and community based educational programming to positively enrich the lives of Louisville residents and all visitors.
Stay tuned for updates on this Legacy project to preserve and inspire.
